At Washington Middle School, we believe in building a positive school culture through PBIS activities, academically safe and engaging classroom practices, physically safe buildings, and extracurricular options to engage students in school. Students at Washington have many opportunities for in-depth, comprehensive instruction in music. We are proud of our diversity at Washington, and have resources to support English Language Learners.

At the March 17, 2025, Board of Education meeting, the Board of Education approved a five-year Strategic Plan.

More than 60 new AED units were added to ensure the well-being of students, staff, athletes, and visitors to GBAPS.

Seventeen grants were awarded to special projects in across GBAPS.
