On Tuesday, September 28, we held grade level meetings while safely spaced in our beautiful auditorium. The focus of our meetings was to reteach our students our school community's expectations. We shared with our staff and students the realization that we have not been in school for a regular, entire year, for over 2 years! This means, our 6th graders haven't had a regular school year since 3rd grade; our 7th graders since 4th grade; and our 8th graders since 5th grade! Imagine that! And here we are, back at it, thinking we are all ready to move forward.

So we reset. We relearned about how to be in a school community. And we started to recreate strong, healthy habits, so we can all be safe. I invite you to take a look at our presentation and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. As I told the students: We believe in them. We know this return to schooling is hard work. We are here to support and teach. We will not give up on them.
